I decided to join an ATP Nutritional Challenge because I was not seeing the results I was hoping for from my CrossFit workouts alone. In fact, I had actually gained a few pounds during my first couple of months of joining the gym. I believe that was due to my workouts becoming more intense than when I was working out alone, so I was hungrier, but choosing the wrong foods throughout the day.
I've learned so much about food and using it to fuel my body during the Coach Dani’s ATP 6-Week Nutritional Challenge. I've learned that it's not about depriving myself at all....in fact, I've eaten a huge variety of foods (some that I hadn't tried before). I enjoy the plans, and especially how coach Danielle is there for me every step of the way. In six weeks, I have lost 6 pounds and 5&1/4 inches overall. I’ve gained strength and confidence all around too!
The best, and maybe most surprising benefit is how my eating habits have influenced my family. My hubby and kiddos are taking notice and making healthier choices too! As a parent that is a huge deal because I need to set a good example for my kiddos, and I want to set them up for success.
I am 40 years old, I work full-time, I'm a wife and a mom of 3 busy kids. But, making the time and putting the effort in for my own health has been so rewarding! I have more stamina and energy to make it through the day and to show up for my kids and my hubby!
I'm so excited to continue working with Coach Danielle at ATP nutrition ....this is a lifestyle change worth making!!
