Athlete Testimonial

I’ve been working with coach Danielle’s and ATP Nutrition going on 8 weeks now, and all I can say is it’s the best decision I have made. I was so on the fence about paying for something like this and committing to it. Change is always so intimidating. My job is very hands-on, and I didn’t know if it would be feasible for me to fit in all my meals. What if I fail? What if it’s too hard? I talked with a few of my friends and people who have worked with her and I decided to give it my all because I knew I needed a change because I was failing on my own.

I was a high school and college athlete and always was able to eat what I wanted because of my training. After I had to quit college sports due to a knee injury with some complications, I had to experiment with balancing my workout routine and my diet. Needless to say, my weight has always

fluctuated since then. Fast forward to more recently, life has thrown me some pretty wicked curve balls and I turned to eating my feelings. I’ve always been consistent with my workouts, but I still managed to be the heaviest I ever have been. I was so unhappy with my body so I decided to go all in and see how much I can change my body with being diligent to following the plans coach Danielle gave me.

In my first 5 weeks with coach Danielle I lost 14.6 pounds and 6.5% body fat. I was shocked at the results of my InBody scan that we had at our gyms New Year’s challenge. Needless to say, it was an eye opener to see just how much of an impact that proper nutrition makes (I know that sounds stupid, but you always think “well if I workout harder than I can eat the extra calories”). Portion control has always been my downfall. I’ve seen more changes in my body with coach Danielle than I have seen in a long time. I feel great and feel like I have established a real lifestyle change that is maintainable.

I’ve tried every gimmick there is for the “quick fix” and thought that meal prepping would be so inconvenient and difficult. I was wrong. With how busy I am with work and fitting in the gym, meal prepping is really what I have needed this whole time. It takes a few hours out of your Sunday, but then you are ready for the entire week without having to think about what your next meal is or if you will have time to cook. Coach Danielle is so enjoyable to work with and is always there to problem solve with you or help you in any way she can. I’ve notice with just a few small lifestyle changes; it can make a huge impact on the outcome.

I would highly recommend coach Danielle to anyone! I was so scared to commit to this, but I am so glad I did! This is not a quick fix by any means, but if you want something that is sustainable, and a true lifestyle change then just give it a try! I’m so glad my friends talked me into it! I look forward to getting my meal plan each week and to see what different recipes I’m going to get. I never knew “healthy“ food could be this fun to eat or make.
