I think we can all agree that 2020 has brought among a fair amount of horror to all of us. It has been a year where it is all too easy to fall into bad habits and excuse it to “uncertain times”. I say this as I fell into this very trap and ended up in the worst physical and mental shape of my life. So this is a chance to tell my story of how Little City Fitness and ATP Nutrition found a way to turn this into one of the best years of my life.
It is a bit of a long story so I will spare you the granularity but my story at Little City Fitness starts on July 1st, 2020 and ATP nutrition on July 19, 2020. I had quite literally just moved back from Chicago and had driven myself into an all-time low mentally and physically. So once I got settled, I realized I had two choices, 1) do nothing and let myself continue to gain weight and continue becoming an unhappy person that I disliked or 2) try anything to come back from the state I was in. I think we all know I chose option 2. It just so happens one thing I always wanted to do when “I got in shape” was CrossFit. But I decided that “in shape” was too far off and that I would just be the most uncomfortable human alive and just go to a class.
That day changed my life forever. I can’t describe the motivation, inspiration, and passion that came from the atmosphere that Dani has instilled in LCF. What I can say is that it is unprecedented. I can say that if you want to be pushed by the coaches, the members (whom I truly view as family now), and yourself to meet goals you never thought were attainable then take a chance with Little City Fitness. Everyone’s story is different but I know one thing to be true, each and every member found a new home with LCF and it is one filled with happiness, confidence, and support.
